Overview
5.1.0 is bundled several new features compared to 5.0.4, following are some of the highlights
- Webservices API
- Workflow
- Vtlib library
- Services support
- Layout Editor
- and many more ...
Around 700 bug fixes and 150+ enhancements have been addressed in this release along with performance improvements.
Software Requirements
Apache: v2.0.40 and above
MySQL: v5.x
PHP: v5.0.x – v5.2.x
Important Note
1. vtiger CRM 5.1.0 does not work with PHP 4.x version.
2. Please remove, 'STRICT_TRANS_TABLES' from the 'SQL MODE'. Otherwise, you may face issues with saving data.

MySQL Configuration
If you are using an standard or pre-installed MySQL database (instead of bundled MySQL available in vtiger510:Exe Download Link / vtiger510:Bin Download Link downloads), make sure to enable UTF=8 support in (my.cnf/my.ini)
